New Procession extends Murray's investigation of optical interference — the point at which order tips into something felt rather than read. Three overlapping brass-finished forms generate a surface of extraordinary complexity, their interlocking ridges producing moiré patterns that shift with every slight movement of the eye.
The title refers to continuous forward movement: a procession has no fixed end point, only the next step. Here, that restlessness is encoded into the optics themselves. The surface never fully settles.
